[:es]This is a recurring question in our consultation and that is why we decided to clarify doubts on the matter.
Orthodontics has been evolving day by day by leaps and bounds, we have seen the emergence of numerous techniques over time that have adopted their own ways of cementing Brackets to the teeth. These vary from placing the bracket very close to the edges of the teeth, others in the center of the teeth and the most modern ones placing them very close to the gum.
But why so high?? The reason why they are cemented higher is because with this location a highly aesthetic and functional result is achieved, which allows the creation of the famous Smile Arch, one of the main objectives to be achieved with the Pitts 21 technique. This technique was created by Dr. Tom Pitts, one of the most influential Orthodontists in the world and pioneer in the concept of Natural Smile Design and of whom I am proud to be his disciple and friend.
So if they ask you why your Brackets are so high, you already know what to answer!![:]
